Engine out!

Last week I took the engine out, which was easily done. This far into the dismantling, not one single bolt has been stuck due to rust. With the engine on the garage floor, outside the car, it suddenly looked very big! The engine oil and gearbox oil were both very good, feels a bit promising, maybe the condition of the gearbox and engine is better than the body!
When I took away the gear lever today, I found a "pet" - a small Austrian (?) mouse.

Dismantling proceeds

During the last couple of weeks I have dismantled almost everything on the 911. Due to lack of space (and time) the engine and suspension are still left to get to grips with. One time consuming pursuit stealing time from the project has been preparing and racing my Abarth 1000 TC in the Danish series (http://www.hms.dk/). The premiere for the season went well! Nice people, good weather, and I also had opportunities to inspect some nice Porsche race-cars.
I have ordered all repair panels I think I need for the body, delivery expected next week!
